Founder of Al Muntaha Tutoring
Adnan is an undergraduate student at Yale University studying Applied Mathematics.
In March 2020, Adnan founded Al Muntaha to connect university students with underprivileged children across the Middle East whose education had been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, Al Muntaha serves over 200 students living in the Middle East and North Africa and is partners with several universities and NGOs in the region.
In September 2021, Adnan received the United Kingdom Prime Minister’s Points of Light award.
Adnan has also served on the Institute of International Education’s inaugural Odyssey Scholarship selection committee since April 2022.

Education Program Manager
Meemo has a PhD in educational technology and language learning from the University of Central Lancashire. Prior to joining Al Muntaha Tutoring, she was an English Language instructor, an academic Consultant and a volunteer at the Manchester Refugee Support Network before the pandemic hit.
She enjoys travelling, crafting, and helping postgraduate students enhance their academic writing skills.

Education Coordinator
Mira Harissa is a Medical Laboratory Sciences graduate based in Lebanon. She has experience working in a medical center, where she supported patient care.
Alongside her medical background, she is passionate about education and enjoys helping children with their academic development, especially in English learning.
She has also participated in Arabic–English translation competitions, strengthening her language and communication skills. She was also a volunteer in a children’s scout group in South Lebanon, where she contributes to youth activities and community engagement.
In her free time, she enjoys discovering new places, visiting the beach and watching movies.
